Hi I'm Siobhan. I'm a Balayage specialist and Colour educator based in London. I am the founder and developer of Creative Balayage.

I love colour and I love educating colour. Creating a safe, open and honest space to learn is really important to me.

I believe that I have developed the perfect combination of systematic sectioning and placement and trend inspired visual application. The results are really wearable too. I believe in using colour application to enhance and compliment. When designing the perfect colour I aim to connect with my clients in a way that will give me a deeper understanding of them,  their colour personality, hair type and wants and needs. There is no one size fits all. Which is why my education has been awarded for not only being thought provoking and informative, but for being incredibly detailed. I always pay special attention to answer the whys and the whens and not just answer the how's. Which means you not only learn the techniques, you also gain the ability to adjust, adapt and even create your own services and techniques, with confidence.

.

This year has been a tough one for all. However,

I strive to be a strong role model championing our industry, pioneering a well balanced life that combines family and an incredible career. The most important thing to me, is to be an advocate for this, with a kind heart and a want to help others.

Fair pay, fair treatment and creating a positive and open working environment are all things I stand for.

Being an educator and specialist colourist to me is not just about creating pretty hair, it’s about using my position to inspire others to do what they thought was not possible, and shape our industry into one that is progressive and one to be proud of.

I`m a Loreal Professionnel Global Ambassador and Educator. I have been a colourist educating for L'Oréal for over 10 years, I  hold a huge press following, am the head colourists for a leading model agency and have coloured hair for many high profile UK celebrities.

This is what has brought me such mass coverage on social, in print and by word of mouth.  I have created top mainstream imagery for International Loreal campaigns, noteworthy window collections and my work has been featured in magazines such as Grazia, Vogue and Glamour. I was named  " One to Watch" by British Vogue so my expert opinions and advice are often respected and featured in many world wide renowned publications.

I have worked on numerous runway shows, how to videos and editorial shoots. I have also presented on many podcasts and seminars (live and online) and have coloured hair for well known tv shows such as Britains Next Top Model and X -Factor. I have extensive experience in Art Direction, Session Colouring, styling and education. I developed and perfected this throughout my time as National Creative Director for a leading high street salon group and Creative Director for a small independent hair boutique. Which under my direction won and was nominated for multiple awards and received top class reviews and exposure.

I regularly create and teach courses Nationally and Internationally (although this year it has mainly been online) and I frequently educate my courses with L'Oreal Professionnel. I`ve also headed education for many large salon groups such as Origin Hair Design, Westrow and Peter Mark. My in demand knowledge and experience has taken me further afield to countries such as India, Cyprus, Russia, France, United States, Norway and Turkey (I feel so lucky about that) where I have hosted educational seminars and shows.

My USP is spotting fashion forward trends and translating them into unique consumer focused imagery, services and education. All with a kind heart and a want to help others.
